Hazara University Organizes Student Guidance & Counselling Session
The Directorate of Student Affairs and Proctorial Board of Hazara University, in collaboration with District Police Mansehra, organized a student guidance and counselling session today.
A large number of students attended the session. DSP Raja Mumtaz Turk introduced the students to the Police Sohulat Markaz (PSM) Mansehra and highlighted its services. Dr. Faiza Nawaz, Deputy Director Directorate of Student Affairs, also addressed the students and encouraged them to remain positive, disciplined, responsible, and away from negative activities.
The speakers motivated students to focus on their education, character-building, and becoming responsible members of society. The session was appreciated by the students and proved to be a positive initiative for student welfare and the betterment of Hazara University.

ہزارہ یونیورسٹی اور کوہاٹ یونیورسٹی آف سائنس اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی کے وائس چانسلرز کا فاٹا یونیورسٹی کا دورہ، بین الجامعاتی تعاون کو عملی شکل دینے پر گفتگو۔

ہزارہ یونیورسٹی مانسہرہ کے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اکرام اللہ خان اور کوہاٹ یونیورسٹی آف سائنس اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی کے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سید ظفر الیاس نے فاٹا یونیورسٹی کا دورہ کیا، جہاں انہوں نے وائس چانسلر فاٹا یونیورسٹی پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محسن نواز سے ملاقات کی۔

ملاقات میں تینوں جامعات کے درمیان موجودہ روابط کو مزید مؤثر بنانے اور باہمی تعاون کو عملی سرگرمیوں میں تبدیل کرنے کے مختلف پہلوؤں کا جائزہ لیا گیا۔ اس موقع پر مشترکہ تعلیمی و تحقیقی سرگرمیوں کے آغاز، فیکلٹی اور طلبہ کے لیے علمی مواقع پیدا کرنے اور جامعات کے دستیاب وسائل و تجربات سے باہمی استفادہ کرنے سے متعلق تجاویز پر تفصیلی تبادلۂ خیال کیا گیا۔

گفتگو کے دوران مشترکہ سیمینارز، کانفرنسز، ورکشاپس، تحقیقی منصوبوں، فیکلٹی ڈویلپمنٹ پروگرامز اور طلبہ کے لیے علمی و تحقیقی سرگرمیوں کے انعقاد سمیت مختلف شعبوں میں تعاون کے امکانات زیرِ غور آئے۔ اس بات پر بھی زور دیا گیا کہ بین الجامعاتی روابط کو محض ملاقاتوں تک محدود رکھنے کے بجائے مشترکہ پروگراموں اور عملی اقدامات کے ذریعے مزید مؤثر بنایا جائے۔

اس موقع پر اس امر پر اتفاق کیا گیا کہ خیبر پختونخوا کی جامعات کے مابین مسلسل رابطہ اور تجربات کا تبادلہ اعلیٰ تعلیم، تحقیق، جدت اور ادارہ جاتی ترقی کے لیے نئے مواقع پیدا کر سکتا ہے۔ جامعات کی جانب سے ایک دوسرے کی علمی و تحقیقی صلاحیتوں سے استفادہ کرتے ہوئے مشترکہ اہداف کے حصول کے لیے تعاون کو آگے بڑھانے کے عزم کا بھی اظہار کیا گیا۔

پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اکرام اللہ خان اور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سید ظفر الیاس نے فاٹا یونیورسٹی کے دورے اور وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محسن نواز کے ساتھ ملاقات کو مفید قرار دیتے ہوئے بین الجامعاتی علمی و تحقیقی روابط کو مزید مستحکم بنانے میں دلچسپی کا اظہار کیا۔

وائس چانسلر فاٹا یونیورسٹی پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محسن نواز نے مہمان وائس چانسلرز کا خیرمقدم کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ جامعات کے درمیان اس نوعیت کے مسلسل روابط اور مشترکہ سرگرمیاں اعلیٰ تعلیم و تحقیق کے معیار کو بہتر بنانے کے ساتھ ساتھ ادارہ جاتی ترقی کے لیے بھی معاون ثابت ہوں گی۔ انہوں نے مہمان وائس چانسلرز کا فاٹا یونیورسٹی کا دورہ کرنے اور باہمی تعاون کے فروغ میں دلچسپی لینے پر شکریہ ادا کیا۔

Department of Agriculture Organised with the collaboration of AGRITAS, a highly informative and beneficial training workshop on "Kitchen Gardening" on 22nd September. The training was conducted for the farmers of the area, housewives, and students of various departments. The training was divided into two parts, i.e., lectures and practical practice. Lectures were delivered by Dr. Muhammad Sajid Chairman Department of Agriculture, Dr. Syed Tanveer Shah Assistant professor and Mr. Siddique ullah. The practical session was performed by Dr. Nadia Jabeen lecturer . Prof. Dr. Inamullah Dean Faculty of Biological and Health Sciences was Chief Guest of the training. Dr. Salman Ahmad CEO AGRITAS was Guest of Honour. Dr. Inamullah expressed his satisfaction over the successful conduction of training and said that the training has suggested various cost-effective ideas of kitchen gardening that can be easily adopted by farmers, housewives, and students. The training concluded with the distribution of souvenirs and certificates.
