A Sad Loss to Our College Community

It is with profound grief and deep sadness that we announce the passing of our respected colleague, Mr. Wajid Ali, Assistant Professor of Physics.

His passing is an irreparable loss to our institution and to all those who had the privilege of knowing and working with him. We will always remember him for his dedication, professionalism, and valuable service to the college.

May Allah (SWT) forgive his sins, shower him with His mercy, grant him the highest ranks in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and bless his soul with eternal peace. Aameen.

His Namaz i Janaza will be offered on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM in Dhangri, Mansehra.

ہمارے لیے آج انتہائی خوشی اور فخر کا دن ہے کہ بی ایس فزکس کے ہمارے قابلِ فخر المنائی شیراز احمد، خیبر پختونخوا پبلک سروس کمیشن (KPPSC) کے ذریعے لیکچرر فزکس منتخب ہوئے ہیں۔
یہ شاندار کامیابی ان کی محنت، لگن اور ثابت قدمی کا ثمر ہے، جو ہمارے شعبۂ فزکس کے لیے بھی باعثِ اعزاز ہے۔ ہم شیراز احمد کو اس اہم سنگِ میل پر دل کی گہرائیوں سے مبارکباد پیش کرتے ہیں اور دعاگو ہیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ انہیں اپنی پیشہ ورانہ زندگی میں مزید کامیابیاں، عزت اور ترقی عطا فرمائے۔

آج گورنمنٹ پوسٹ گریجویٹ کالج مانسہرہ کے مین ہال میں پروفیسر شاہد اقبال صاحب کی ریٹائرمنٹ کے سلسلے میں ایک نہایت پروقار تقریب کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ اس تقریب میں گورنمنٹ کالج بالاکوٹ کے پرنسپل جناب عبدالحفیظ خان، گورنمنٹ کالج لسان نواب کے پرنسپل جناب پروفیسر محمد ادریس صاحب، پروفیسر افضل غازی، پروفیسر قاسم شاہ صاحب، پرنسپل گورنمنٹ پوسٹ گریجویٹ کالج مانسہرہ، مختلف شعبہ جات کے سربراہان اور شعبہ فزکس کے طلبہ نے بھرپور شرکت کی۔
ہم اپنے تمام معزز مہمانوں کے تہہ دل سے شکر گزار ہیں کہ انہوں نے اپنے قیمتی وقت میں سے اس تقریب کے لیے وقت نکالا اور اسے اپنی شرکت سے رونق بخشی۔
پروفیسر شاہد اقبال صاحب کی ریٹائرمنٹ نہ صرف گورنمنٹ پوسٹ گریجویٹ کالج مانسہرہ کے شعبہ فزکس کے لیے ایک بڑا نقصان ہے بلکہ مانسہرہ کے تعلیمی میدان میں بھی ایک نمایاں خلا پیدا ہو گیا ہے، جسے پر کرنا آسان نہیں ہوگا۔

Students from the Department of Physics, Government Postgraduate College Mansehra, visited the Centralized Research Laboratory (CRL) at Hazara University Mansehra for advanced instrumentation training under the supervision of Professor Muhammad awais.

Dr. Muhammad Haneef guided the students through out the session.

At the conclusion of the session, certificates were distributed by Prof. Dr. Saleh Muhammad, Director Academic & Research, along with Dr. Muhammad Sajid, Additional Director CRL, in recognition of the students’ successful completion of the training.
