Reciting Salat upon the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is always rewarding. It is a humble expression of love and devotion towards the Prophet Muhammad Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.
The Believers should recite Salat all the time, particularly on Friday.
