This Saturday, the government is unveiling additional measures to reduce migration and tighten visa regulations. The new changes include:

- Visitors on visas will no longer be allowed to extend their stays.
- Warning notices will be sent to the most high-risk providers, who will have six months to enhance their operations or face closure.
- English language prerequisites for student visas will be raised from IELTS 5.5 to 6.0, and for graduate visas from IELTS 6.0 to 6.5.
