منڈی بہاؤالدین: وائس چانسلر یونیورسٹی آف رسول، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ظہور الحق (T.I.) کی میزبانی میں یونیورسٹی آف رسول میں میڈیکل کالج کے قیام کے حوالے سے ایک اہم اجلاس اور تفصیلی دورہ ہوا، جس میں ڈپٹی کمشنر منڈی بہاؤالدین عدیل حیدر کے ہمراہ یونیورسٹی آف ہیلتھ سائنسز (UHS) لاہور، سپیشلائزڈ ہیلتھ کیئر اینڈ میڈیکل ایجوکیشن اور ہیلتھ اینڈ پاپولیشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ لاہور کے نمائندگان نے شرکت کی۔

اس موقع پر مجوزہ میڈیکل کالج کے قیام سے متعلق مختلف امور، دستیاب سہولیات، انفراسٹرکچر، اکیڈمک بلاک اور دیگر انتظامی و تعلیمی تقاضوں کا تفصیلی جائزہ لیا گیا۔ وفد نے یونیورسٹی کی مختلف سہولیات کا معائنہ کیا جبکہ متعلقہ حکام کی جانب سے مجوزہ میڈیکل کالج کے حوالے سے بریفنگ بھی دی گئی۔

وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ظہور الحق (T.I.) نے مجوزہ میڈیکل کالج کے قیام کو علاقے میں اعلیٰ طبی تعلیم کے فروغ اور طلبہ کے لیے معیاری طبی تعلیم کے نئے مواقع پیدا کرنے کی جانب اہم پیش رفت قرار دیا۔ انہوں نے اس سلسلے میں متعلقہ اداروں کے باہمی تعاون اور مؤثر رابطہ کاری کی اہمیت پر زور دیا۔

یونیورسٹی آف رسول میں میڈیکل کالج کے قیام کے حوالے سے مختلف امور پر پیش رفت کا سلسلہ جاری ہے، جس کا مقصد خطے میں اعلیٰ تعلیم اور طبی تعلیم کے نئے مواقع کو فروغ دینا ہے۔
