The University of Larkano Hosts Meeting with Regional Director Colleges and Principals Regarding BS Program Affiliations

LARKANA: The University of Larkano hosted an important meeting with Prof. Dr. Karam Hussain Wadho, Regional Director Colleges, along with principals of colleges from various cities of the Larkana Region, including Larkana, Dokri, Qambar, Nasirabad, Naudero, Ratodero and Jacobabad, to discuss the affiliation of BS programs in colleges with The University of Larkano.

Vice Chancellor The University of Larkano, Prof. Dr. Nek Mohammad Shaikh, warmly welcomed the Regional Director and all participating principals and appreciated their presence at the University.

The meeting was also attended by key representatives of the University administration, including Mr. Kashif Jatoi, Registrar, The University of Larkano, Dr. Sultan Maitlo, Dean Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Farhan Bashir, Focal Person, Faculties of Social Sciences, Natural Sciences & Management Sciences and Dr. Asif Ali Abro, Director Finance.

During the meeting, Mr. Khalil Jibran Abbasi delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting the University’s academic departments, educational facilities, infrastructure and available academic resources.

Dr. Zulfiqar Abbasi briefed the participants in detail about the BS programs offered by the University, including the programs and fee structure.

The principals actively participated in the discussion and raised various questions regarding academic programs, affiliation procedures, facilities, fee structures and other matters related to the implementation of BS programs. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nek Mohammad Shaikh responded to their queries and provided detailed clarification on the matters discussed.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Vice Chancellor presented commemorative gifts to the Regional Director Colleges and all participating principals as a gesture of appreciation for their participation & collaboration.

RESCUE 1122 Training Session Held at The University of Larkano

Under the Supervision of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Nek Muhammad Shaikh, a comprehensive RESCUE 1122 Training Session was successfully conducted on 17 September 2026 at The University of Larkano.

The valuable training session was organized through the dedicated efforts of the faculty members of the Department of Electronic Engineering, particularly Dr. Irfan Tunio, Dr. Arsalan Sohu, Engr. Haseb Shah, and their colleagues. Their commitment and efforts in facilitating this important initiative are highly appreciated.

The training focused on essential aspects of Emergency Response, First Aid, Fire Safety, and Disaster Management, providing participants with practical knowledge, demonstrations, and awareness to respond effectively and responsibly during emergency situations.

A large number of faculty members, officers, staff, and students actively participated in the session and benefited from the valuable guidance and practical demonstrations delivered by the RESCUE 1122 team.

The University of Larkano sincerely appreciates the RESCUE 1122 team for conducting this informative and practical training session. Such initiatives contribute significantly towards building a safer, better-prepared, and more responsible university community.

Furthermore, to strengthen institutional collaboration and facilitate more such training sessions and capacity-building activities in the future, an MoU between RESCUE 1122 and The University of Larkano is expected to be signed in the near future.

Please log in to your portal and carefully check your department selection. Visit the Admission Branch to verify your original documents and confirm your admission.

After successful verification, you will receive your Admission Fee Challan from the Admission Branch. Please pay the required fee and complete your admission process.
