🇩🇪 Germany Introduces Online Digital Visa Platform for Pakistani Applicants 🇵🇰
Germany has officially launched a new online digital visa platform for Pakistani applicants, streamlining the process for student and employment visas.

The German Consulate General announced that all existing waiting lists have been closed and deleted, with applicants now required to begin their visa process through the Consular Services Portal.

Those who already have appointments will continue under the old system, while new submissions open on December 12, 2025. Student visa applications can be filed at digital.diplo.de/studium, while employment, training, and jobseeker categories are available at digital.diplo.de/visa-ewt Officials say the move aims to speed up processing times and increase the number of visas issued, offering Pakistani students and professionals a more efficient pathway to Germany.

Australia has expanded the Australian Immi App to an additional 19 countries, including Pakistan, Thailand, and Malaysia, thereby enhancing the efficiency of the visa process. 📱
What this means for applicants:
• You can now submit facial biometrics and passport information directly from your smartphone.
• No need to visit a biometric collection centre.
• No additional cost for using the app.
• Faster processing as your biometrics reach the Department quickly. To utilize the app, applicants must have previously provided biometrics (photo + fingerprints) and hold a valid passport. Here is the complete list of countries now eligible to use the app.

🦘Australia Updates🦘

Australian High Commission has announced that the process of obtaining an Australian visa has become significantly easier. Applicants from Pakistan will no longer need to visit a biometric center.

According to the Australian High Commissioner, applicants can now upload their required biometric data and passport details through the Australian Immigration App.

However, this facility is only available to those who have previously submitted their biometrics to an Australian authority and have a valid passport on record. The High Commission stated that this app will save Pakistani applicants both time and money.

Australian High Commissioner Timothy Kane added that Pakistani travelers, students, and workers can all apply using the app. The app is now operational in 34 countries.

He also said that the plan is to make the app fully functional worldwide by early 2026.
