To mark Autism Awareness Day, LGS Shalimar organized meaningful activities aimed at inclusion and understanding. Students viewed a documentary on autism and wore blue ribbons to express their support. From an aerial view, students formed a large blue ribbon, visually reinforcing the day’s message. The event’s core purpose was to tell the autism community that we stand with them.

*Autism Awareness Day*:
Today at LGS Shalimar campus, Grades 3–5 marked Autism Awareness Day through inclusive, hands-on activities that celebrated difference and belonging. Grade 3 students decorated blue balloons the color of autism awareness — with words and drawings about acceptance, then brought them together to show how unity creates a supportive space for everyone. Grades 4–5 girls crafted blue butterflies carrying kind messages that can brighten someone’s day, while the boys wrote encouraging notes on puzzle pieces to show that every person, with their unique strengths, is an important part of our community.

Our students from grades 3 to 5 engaged in Earth Day activities with commendable enthusiasm.

They demonstrated their dedication to environmental preservation through three principal initiatives:
- *Poster Making*: Designing insightful posters with messages advocating for planetary conservation.
- *Photo & Green Pledge*: Providing photographs of tree-planting endeavors alongside personal commitments to adopt sustainable practices.
- *Paint-a-Planter for the Planet*: Repurposing household waste into decorated planters, which were subsequently utilized to cultivate marigolds, mint, and coriander for our _Classroom Green Corner_.
These initiatives exemplify their expanding awareness and sense of responsibility concerning environmental conservation.
