The meeting focused on discussing key regulatory processes, streamlining input-output ratios, and enhancing coordination to support the growth and efficiency of Pakistan’s solar industry. PSA remains dedicated to working closely with revenue and regulatory authorities to facilitate a smooth trade and operational environment for clean energy solutions.

​The Pakistan Solar Association (PSA) hosted a dinner gathering at Yum Chinese & Thai in Gulberg, Lahore, bringing together our Executive Committee, members, and industry leadership. It was a fantastic evening spent unwinding, strengthening internal bonds, and engaging in fruitful discussions over great food. Moments like these reinforce our collective commitment to working together and driving Pakistan’s solar sector forward.

The Executive Committee of the Pakistan Solar Association (PSA) had a productive meeting with the Honourable Secretary Energy, Government of the Punjab, to introduce our new committee and present upcoming initiatives for the solar industry.

During the session, we sought clarification and exemption on the 4-paisa electricity duty for self-generated solar and agreed on closer coordination through PSA committees.

​Our Chairman also led discussion on critical sector developments, including local Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing, industrial solar wheeling, the role of Punjab Grid Company, green financing, and clean energy opportunities for industrial zones. PSA remains dedicated to working alongside government partners to foster a sustainable, forward-looking energy landscape across Pakistan.
