The Department of Graphic Design at the College of Art and Design,
University of the Punjab, hosted the grand opening of its Undergraduate Thesis Display 2026. The exhibition launched on June 3rd, 2026, in the historic Grand Hall of the College of Art and Design and will remain open to visitors until June 12th.
The exhibition was formally inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali (SI, TI), alongside Guest of Honor, Prof. Dr. Mahboob Hussain. Principal of the College of Art and Design, Prof. Dr. Samina Nasim, also graced the occasion to support the graduating students. This year’s showcase highlights the work of 85 students from both the morning and
replica classes. The extensive exhibition was made possible through the collective efforts of the design faculty, led by Chairperson Prof. Dr. Ahmad Bilal. The thesis
projects were guided by project lead Dr. Sarah Umer and supervisors Dr. Syed Farjood, Ailya Rizvi, Dr. Humera Omer Farooq, Ms. Mamoona Rahim, Dr. Syeda Arooj Zehra Rizvi, and Mr. Muhammad Ahsan Bilal. In a modern twist, the department has introduced a digital catalogue for this year's thesis, which can be accessed directly on the main webpage of the College of Art and Design. The opening ceremony saw a vibrant turnout, attended by numerous industry- renowned designers and esteemed faculty members.
