NPT (Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons) was signed on 1 July 1968. It only recognises the countries as Nuclear states who have tested Nuclear Weapons before 1967.
India want to Join NSG (Nuclear Supplier Group) but the group required India to sign NPT first. India says the few other countries i.e France , Argentina have also joined NSG first and then ratified NPT. It's one of the claims, India does for membership in NSG. Additionally , India got waiver in 2008 from NSG because of diplomatic relations with USA.

Why has the price of oil been dropping so fast? Why now?
This a complicated question, but it boils down to the simple economics of supply and demand.
United States domestic production has nearly doubled over the last several years, pushing out oil imports that need to find another home. Saudi, Nigerian and Algerian oil that once was sold in the United States is suddenly competing for Asian markets, and the producers are forced to drop prices. Canadian and Iraqi oil production and exports are rising year after year. Even the Russians, with all their economic problems, manage to keep pumping.
There are signs, however, that production is falling in the United States and some other oil-producing countries because of the drop in exploration investments. But the drop in production is not happening fast enough, especially with output from deep waters off the Gulf of Mexico and Canada continuing to build as new projects come online.
On the demand side, the economies of Europe and developing countries are weak and vehicles are becoming more energy-efficient. So demand for fuel is lagging a bit.

Putin and Politics Are Behind Obama’s Decision to Send Troops to Syria When military moves seem too small to make a difference, there's usually another reason for them.
Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
The veracity, universality and sagacity of this pithy remark by Edmund Burke, a political thinker and philosopher, can never be denied in any age. From the dark ages to the renaissance period and till the modern times, history is widely read as a subject to learn a great deal of knowledge from the past; however, it is not the case in general as far as the individuals and nations are concerned. Generally, man is in habit of forgetting the past and hardly bothers to analyze and learn from the mistakes of the past. Consequently, without learning from past, human being remains trapped in the vicious circle of repeating the same mistakes again and again. This very fact of repeating the same mistakes with no learning attitude is wisely described by the great political visionary in this maxim.
History is replete with instances in which individuals and the nations who never bothered to consider the past for sake of learning had to face the same consequences as had happened in the past. An incident from the European history can better explain the above mentioned fact. The French invasion of Russia in 1812, by the history’s top military tactician Napoleon Bonaparte resulted in a massive fiasco and proved to be the beginning of the end for Napoleon. After the happening of this event, the military strategist developed consensus on “the unpreparedness of the French army for the cold weather” being the most basic strategic flaw that resulted in that failure. However, right after 130 years, in 1941, the ambitious dictator Hi**er repeated the same mistake when he launched operation Barbarossa against Russia to conquer Soviet territories. Obsessed with the lust of power, Hi**er lent no ears to the advice of his advisers and attacked Soviet with no preparation for the upcoming winter season. N**i army embraced great defeat at the hands of the Russians who were used to with the cold weather and took great advantage of it. Resultantly, with the attitude of not learning from history, Hi**er faced the same music as was witnessed by Napoleon. Thus, this example validates the fact that those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
