The ongoing mock review conducted by Kashif Kamran indicates that the Q2 of the AAA Pre-Jun 26 mock examination was entirely unsuccessful. Students consistently experienced difficulties with the reporting component, which was worth 5 marks. They overanalyzed the question and concluded it would result in an adverse opinion, overlooking the segment on other information. Regarding the fifteen marks allocated for treatments and evidence, students overlooked essential details and calculations, such as failing to determine that the borrowing cost is overcapitalized by $100,000 and neglecting to discount the provision to its present value, considering the settlement spread over eight years. In the section related to fire, students improperly addressed a straightforward non-adjusting event by overapplying IAS-36 regulations, and they failed to identify fundamental issues related to other information. A comprehensive debrief regarding Question 2 will be provided within 48 hours; please stay tuned for further details.

With only 18 days remaining until the ACCA SBL examinations scheduled for June 2026, what constitutes an optimal exam-focused strategy from now until the examination day?
Day 1-9 (15th May to 24th May) – Cover nine papers, including a mock exam, with one paper per day, totalling nine days. This includes practising past papers as mentioned in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIbm8QyBVPA&t=158s
Day 10 (25th May) - Review two examiner reports (SD25 & MJ25); thoroughly read and note key issues.
Days 6-17 (From 20th May to 31st May) - The pre-seen will be released by ACCA, so start reviewing the pre-seen material alongside practice, dedicating up to 1 hour daily to pre-seen analysis. Don’t overshadow practice by spending too much time on the pre-seen.
Specific activities include:
* Reading and annotating the pre-seen material.
* Watching tutor debriefs to gain additional insights (will be done on 25th May).
* Studying pertinent articles related to the pre-seen as guided by the tutor.
* Revising essential models and theories relevant to the pre-seen as guided by the tutor.
Day 18 (1st Jun) - Rest, relax, and mentally prepare for the examination. Should any concerns arise affecting your mindset, revisit these for clarity.
All preparations should be complete for your ACCA SBL June 2026 examinations.

With just 17 days left until the ACCA AA/F8 June 2026 exams, it's crucial to have a solid strategy in place. Here’s a plan to maximize your preparation:
* **Days 1–9**: Focus on completing one past paper each day, along with practicing at least 30 Objective Test Questions (OTQs) daily. For guidance on which past papers and OTQs to tackle, refer to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXaqHwl38rI&t=116s.
* **Day 10**: Take the ACCA pre-June 2026 mock exam available on the ACCA practice platform to assess your readiness.
* **Days 11–12**: Read the most recent articles. You can find recommendations on which articles to focus on in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXaqHwl38rI&t=116s.
* **Day 13**: Review two examiner reports (SD25 and MJ25) and take note of the key issues highlighted.
* **Days 14–16**: Revisit any weak areas identified through your practice or from the examiner reports to strengthen your understanding.
* **Day 17**: Take a day to rest and relax before the exam. If there are any lingering concerns, review them briefly for clarity.
By following this structured approach, you’ll be well-prepared for your AA June 2026 exam. Wish you all the best of luck, Kashif Kamran- AA tutor
