🔴 Tragic Incident – A Cry for Justice!
With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we mourn the tragic loss of Asif Khanewal, a dedicated labor leader and President of the Nestlé Workers' Union. In a desperate act of seeking justice, he set himself on fire outside the Lahore High Court and has succumbed to his injuries.
This heartbreaking incident is a stark reminder of the ongoing struggles faced by workers in their fight for fair treatment, dignity, and justice. Pakistan United Workers Federation (PUWF) stands in solidarity with all laborers and demands urgent attention to the grievances of workers who continue to face oppression and exploitation.
We urge the authorities to take immediate action and ensure that no worker ever has to take such an extreme step to be heard. Justice must prevail!
