EYLAR TEACHERS' TRAINING PROGRAM:
Montessori Teachers’ Training Program is the only complete professional & holistic teachers training available in Pakistan for the pre-school/Kindergarten teachers, mothers, School owners, Home schoolers and for adults who cater the children. On International level
, there are many systems for pre school children but none provide complete philosophy along with the understanding of child’s needs at this particular age & to help the child in this phase of development. Further, the method of instruction is through ‘Hands-on activities ‘ so the child learns through sensorial impressions. Each child is given individual lessons according to his unique abilities & readiness. This beautiful child-centered nature - directed system of education is discovered by Dr. Maria Montessori who was a mathematician, engineer, psychiatrist, and a brilliant Educationist . She combined her extensive knowledge in order to serve the children of ages 0-6years. (later the system is developed to cater the needs of 6-18 years also). After years of Scientific Observation of children in different countries she designed learning materials with perfection & scientific accuracy.. The teachers Training Program focuses on the Real and natural learning of the child with the assumption that a child is a natural curious learner ,always ready to explore his environment.. Its main purpose is to make the child Independent as he grows up. Genuine love and care for children .
2. Passionate teaching with the aim to help the child gaining 'Independence' .
3. Correct presentation of the specially designed materials to develop focus, concentration, patience and inner discipline in a child.
4. A ‘constructive’ or ‘discovery’ model, in which children learns concepts from working with the materials, rather than by direct ‘instruction’.
5. Montessori classrooms are scientifically prepared keeping (even the minute, sensitive and most neglected) needs and development of children in mind.
6. One to one teaching based on the level of the child thus respecting individuality and caters all type of Learning styles.
7. Record keeping, with the scientific Observation
8. Individual lesson plans to cater the needs of each child ‘s talents and readiness.

Australia Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said on Thursday the government would legislate for a ban on social media for children under 16, a policy the government says is world-leading.
Australia is trialing an age-verification system to assist in blocking children from accessing social media platforms, as part of a ban that could come into force as soon as the end of next year.
“Social media is doing harm to our kids and I’m calling time on it,” Albanese told a news conference.
Albanese cited the risks to physical and mental health of children from excessive social media use, in particular the risks to girls from harmful depictions of body image, and misogynist content aimed at boys.
Legislation will be introduced into parliament this year, with the laws coming into effect 12 months after being ratified by lawmakers, he added.
The opposition Liberal Party has expressed support for a ban.
There will be no exemptions for children who have parental consent, or who already have accounts.
“The onus will be on social media platforms to demonstrate they are taking reasonable steps to prevent access,” Albanese said. “The onus won’t be on parents or young people.”
Communications Minister Michelle Rowland said platforms impacted would include Meta Platforms’ Instagram and Facebook, as well as Bytedance’s TikTok and Elon Musk’s X. Alphabet’s YouTube would likely also fall within the scope of the legislation, she added.
I am thrilled to reflect on the incredible experience we had with Jill Taplin, a seasoned trainer from the UK, during the inaugural Waldorf Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teachers Training in Pakistan. Jill embodies the perfect blend of humility, spirituality, and professionalism, making her an invaluable asset to our training program.
Her deep understanding of the art of training, particularly in the context of cultural diversity, has left a profound impact on all participants. Jill's ability to connect with educators from varied backgrounds and inspire them to embrace holistic and inclusive teaching practices is truly remarkable. Her sessions were not just informative but transformative, encouraging us to think critically about how we can better serve our diverse classrooms.
As we continue to advocate for high-quality early childhood education, I invite schools, educational institutions, and government bodies to reach out for consultancy. Together, we can foster an environment that celebrates diversity and nurtures the potential of every child.
Let’s work together to create a brighter future for our next generation!
Best,
Batool Ishaque

🌟 Reflecting on Our Journey in Early Childhood Education! 🌟
It's hard to believe that it's been several years since we hosted the international Waldorf Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers training in Lahore, organized by EYLAR and IASWECE in 2019. This training was a remarkable experience, emphasizing the importance of practical skill-based training for preschool teachers.
During our sessions, we dove into engaging activities such as circle time, poem singing, and collaborative group activities, which are essential for fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. These hands-on experiences not only enriched our teaching practices but also reinforced our commitment to holistic education.
As we look back at these moments captured in pictures and videos, we celebrate the dedication of our educators who strive to inspire the next generation. Together, we are shaping a brighter future for our children by equipping teachers with the tools they need to foster creativity, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence in the classroom.
Check out these cherished memories from our training! 📸✨
