PTUT proudly celebrated 75 Years of Pakistan–China Friendship and Brotherhood, through a memorable ceremony reflecting the strong and enduring relationship between both nations.

The event was led by the Vice Chancellor of Punjab Tianjin University of Technology Prof. Dr. Adeel Akram, who warmly welcomed the honorable Consul General of China in Lahore H. E. Mr. Sun Yan, to the PTUT Township Campus.

The celebration featured flag hoisting ceremony, Commemorative Tree Plantation, Pak-China Friendship artwork by students, and 75th Aniversary Cake-cutting ceremony, faculty & students presentations expressing the spirit of friendship and collaboration marking this important milestone.

The Consul General also conversed with the students in Chinese Language and guided them about their future prospects with Chinese counterparts during informal interaction with them.

One of the most memorable moments was when both distinguished leaders signed the Wall of Friendship, symbolizing continued partnership and future collaboration in education, technology, and innovation.

The Vice Chancellor also extends sincere appreciation to the entire university leadership, organizing team members, Deans, Departmental Heads, faculty members, and students who came together to warmly welcome the Consul General and contributed in the success of this event.

The celebration concluded with a memorable group photo with both distinguished guests, capturing a shared commitment toward stronger Pakistan–China relations.
