K-BIC Successfully Organizes Entrepreneurial Expo 3.0, 2026, at LCWU
Lahore, June 17, 2026: The Khadija-tul-Kubra Business Incubation Center (K-BIC), Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), successfully organized Entrepreneurial Expo 3.0, bringing together aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators, investors, industry leaders, and academia to celebrate innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup excellence.
The event was graced by Ms. Nadia Seth (SI) CEO SMEDA as the Chief Guest. She appreciated the innovative projects displayed by the students and encouraged K-BIC to continue organizing such events to promote and showcase students' entrepreneurial ventures and creative business ideas.
Ms. Falahat Imran, President of the Women Chamber of Commerce, attended as the Guest of Honour. In her address, she emphasized the importance of empowering students to develop original business ideas while equipping them with practical skills and knowledge relevant to their chosen fields.
Prof. Dr Uzma Quraishi, Vice Chancellor, LCWU, applauded the efforts of Dr Faiza Iftikhar Director K-BIC and Her team for organising a successful event. She said such events are crucial in helping students prepare for their future enterpreneurial ventures. She also thanked the Chief Guest Ms Nadia Seth , Ms Falahat Imran and other Honourable guests, jurors and representatives of participating universities.

LCWU Faculty Certified as QPR Su***de Prevention Trainers
In a significant step toward strengthening student mental health support, Prof. Dr. Amina Muazzam (PhD Clinical Psychology), Dr. Maryam Gul (PhD Clinical Psychology), and Ms. Zunaira Shabbir (MS Clinical Psychology) from the Department of Applied Psychology, LCWU, successfully completed the internationally recognized QPR (Question, Persuade, and Refer) Su***de Prevention Train-the-Trainer Program and earned certification as QPR Su***de Prevention Trainers.
This highly specialized training, offered to a select group of approximately 30 professionals , equips participants with evidence-based skills to recognize warning signs of su***de, intervene effectively, and facilitate timely referrals for professional support.
The training was conducted by Prof. Dr. Nazish Imran and Prof. Dr. Ali Madeeh Hashmi, while Prof. Dr. Ayesha Rasheed, Executive Director, Punjab Institute of Mental Health (PIMH), appreciated the participants’ commitment to advancing mental health and su***de prevention efforts.
