𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲 – 𝗕𝗦 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

The second-year cohort of the BS Economics with Data Science program at the Information Technology University (ITU) presented their research work at a poster exhibition organized as part of the Introduction to Data Analysis course.

Under the guidance of Dr. Rizwan Khalid, students explored a range of cross-sectional methodologies to examine key microeconomic indicators and contemporary economic issues through empirical analysis.

Their work reflected a strong foundation in statistical reasoning, data interpretation, and evidence-based research, offering meaningful and data-driven insights into real-world economic challenges.

The showcase highlighted ITU’s commitment to promoting analytical thinking, applied research skills, and practical engagement with data among its students, while also encouraging collaboration, creativity, and academic excellence.

The Faculty of Business and Management recently hosted an insightful guest lecture for the BSMT 22 and MSMT 25 E-commerce and Digital Business course, organized by Mr. Salman Altaf.

The session featured Mr. Abdullah Dogar, Co- founder and Managing Director of Qoolish.pk, who provided students with firsthand industry perspectives and a deep dive into the complexities of the digital marketplace. This interactive engagement allowed students to explore real-world challenges and emerging trends, bridging the gap between classroom theory and current industry practice.

In collaboration with Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), the students of Haji Nawaz Trust IT College, Narowal visited Information Technology University (ITU) for an insightful educational tour aimed at exposing students to modern technologies, research facilities, and professional opportunities in the tech industry.

During the visit, Ms. Mamoona Tasadduq delivered an engaging session for the students, highlighting emerging technologies, certification pathways, and internship opportunities available for aspiring IT professionals.

The students visited the Intelligent Machines Lab (IML) supervised by Dr. Mohsen and Dr. Waqas, along with the Robotics Lab supervised by Dr. Muhammad Ali Murtaza, where they explored innovative research projects and technology demonstrations.

We thank PITB, faculty members, and lab teams for making this visit a valuable and inspiring learning experience for the students.

𝗠𝗧𝟮𝟯 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮-𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗼𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲

A group of MT23 students, led by Dr. Faizan Abdullah (Instructor for the Market Research and Analysis course), recently visited Dolmen Mall Lahore to pitch a series of innovative ideas to their management.

During the visit, the students met with Mr. Ahmed Qaisar (Head of Marketing - Dolmen Group Lahore) and his marketing team. The highlight of the meeting was the students pitching a fully automated dashboard designed to capture global data and improve audience engagement, along with some ideas gathered through this dashboard. This was the culmination of two weeks of intensive work, analyzing real-time data and ongoing trends in global malls to help support Dolmen Mall Lahore's long-term vision.

Information Technology University proudly participated in Innovative Pakistan 2026 hosted at The University of Faisalabad, bringing together leading universities, innovators, researchers, and emerging entrepreneurs from across the country under the theme “Think. Build. Lead.”

Prof. Dr. Adnan Noor Mian, Vice Chancellor of Information Technology University, attended the prestigious event as the Guest of Honor, where he engaged with academia, industry leaders, and young innovators contributing towards Pakistan’s growing technology and innovation ecosystem.

Adding another proud achievement to ITU’s journey of excellence, Team Nebula from ITU secured the Encouragement Prize worth PKR 15,000 in the Innovative Pakistan 2026 competition for their outstanding innovation and creativity. The achievement reflects ITU students’ passion for problem-solving, technological advancement, and impactful innovation on a national platform.

The Federal Government, in collaboration with NAVTTC and the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, is launching a special initiative to empower the youth of Pakistan with high-demand digital skills. Through this FREE 3-month training program, students and aspiring professionals can learn future-focused skills including AI, Power BI, Ecommerce, Freelancing, Graphic Design, Video Editing, Digital Marketing, and SEO.

Participants will gain practical experience from industry experts, receive internationally recognized certifications, and unlock better career and internship opportunities. Eligible candidates with Intermediate (or equivalent) qualifications can now apply and take the first step toward building a successful digital future.

From strategic battles in Chess, Ludo & Trivia to adrenaline-packed clashes in Table Tennis, Foosball & Dizzy Penalties — and jaw-dropping creativity in Photography & Reel competitions — every batch brought their A-game to the arena!

Dominating the leaderboard with unstoppable consistency and brilliance across multiple events, AI24 took home the ultimate crown, while giving an incredible performance and a fight till the very last module, warriors of CS23 stood as Runner-ups.

A huge shoutout to our esteemed guest judges, Waleed Lodhi and Abdul Ahad, for recognizing and celebrating the amazing creative talent showcased throughout the event. The competition was concluded with lots of memories to cherish for the participants!

𝗜𝗧𝗨 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗫 ’𝟮𝟲

The BSSE’23 Web Development Team secured 1st Position in the Web Development Competition at AUREX ’26, organized by Bahria University, Islamabad, winning a cash prize of Rs. 15,000. The team demonstrated exceptional innovation, creativity, and technical excellence throughout the competition.

The AUREX ’26 modules included AI Hackathon, Web Development Competition, Speed Programming, Video Editing Competition & Sticker Design Competition.
