How to Calculate PUCIT Aggregate | PU Merit Formula 2026

Here is the official step-by-step guide on how to calculate your Punjab University (PU) merit online for the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology (FCIT / PUCIT) 2026 admissions.

For BS Computer Science (BSCS), Software Engineering (BSSE), Information Technology (BSIT), and Data Science programs, your final aggregate is based on:

* 75% Normalized Academic Score
* 25% Punjab University Admission Test Score

📊 Official FCIT / PUCIT Merit Formula

Final Merit =
((0.25 × Matric Obtained + Inter Part-I Obtained + 20 Hafiz Marks)÷ (0.25 × Matric Total + Inter Part-I Total))× 75 +(PU Admission Test Percentage × 0.25)

Example:
Academic Merit = ((0.25 × Matric Obtained + Inter Part-I Obtained + Hafiz Marks) ÷ (0.25 × Matric Total + Inter Part-I Total)) × 75

Final Merit = Academic Merit + (PU Test Percentage × 0.25)

Note:
The additional 20 Hafiz-e-Quran marks are only included after successfully passing Punjab University's official Hifz verification.
