Some days remind you why literature matters. Today was one of them. A conversation around Dr. Shahid Imtiaz's Janus Lahore and Other Poems, poetry that is equal parts tenderness and rage, myth and street reality, silence and reckoning. With Dr. Rizwan Akhtar and Dr. Salma Khatoon in the room, the book didn't just get discussed. It got felt. Congratulations to Incharge Tahir Yousaf Bukhari, English Literary Circle, Aasim H. Lodhi, and the Chairperson of the Department of English, Mr. Zafar Jadoon for a truly successful event.
