"Trash to Treasures: Transforming Waste into Scientific Exploration"

In our modern world, where waste is a growing concern, there lies an opportunity for innovation and discovery.

Science Education Alliance (SEA) conducted a session with the young minds of Sanjan Nagar Trust School on making Machines, Scientific Toys and Science Equipment using trash.

We believe in sustainability. our approach is twofold: environmental conservation and hands-on science education. By engaging in recycling practices, we're reducing our ecological footprint and mitigating the impact of waste on our planet. Simultaneously, we're delving into the realm of science, uncovering the principles behind recycling processes and exploring the properties of materials.

From turning plastic bottles into hand – made air pump and Air Turbines to constructing geometrical 2D & 3D models form match sticks, our projects demonstrate the intersection of creativity, sustainability, and scientific inquiry.

Participants not only learn about the importance of recycling but also gain practical skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, and experimentation.

Through "Trash to Treasures," we're fostering a culture of environmental consciousness and scientific curiosity.

We conducted a workshop with children at Pakistan Learning Festival, Learning of Science through Performing Art.

It was wonderful and life long learning experience that students designed a play on Eco System and performed at the end of the workshop.

The Learning of Science could be more fun filling expereince for learners if we (the educators) provide them opportunities of freedom of learning, learning on their own and integrating art.
