Are we our own shamans?

"O you who believe! Save yourselves and your families from the fire whose fuel will be men and stones, on which are appointed angels who are very strict, who never disobey The command of Allah, and do whatever is commanded to them. ‘‘
The Qur'an shows us the way to escape hell, but we do not read and understand the Qur'an ourselves, nor do we enable our children to understand it, so how do we know that path?
For this short life of the world, we get worldly education year after year and do nothing for a never-ending life.

Alas, we are the enemies of ourselves and our children.
