AL Khawarizmi Institute of Computer science, UET Lahore

Al-Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science and Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering and Technology have officially signed an MoU to implement Campus Solution 360 (CS360).
The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Shahzad Asif (Director KICS) and Prof. Dr. Asim Umer (Registrar MNS-UET Multan), marking an important step towards comprehensive campus digitization.
An agreement was also signed by officials from both sides for the implementation of Campus Solution 360.
Through this collaboration, KICS will deploy its advanced CMS, LMS, and Student Finance modules at MNS-UET Multan, enhancing both academic and administrative efficiency through indigenous solutions. Modernizing Education. Empowering Institutions.

Prof. Dr. Hafiz Shahzad Asif has officially assumed charge as Director of KICS, UET Lahore, effective 24 April 2026. His appointment marks a significant step forward in strengthening the institute’s vision for excellence in research, innovation, and industry collaboration. He was warmly welcomed in his office by staff members, who extended their best wishes and support as he begins this important leadership role.

KICS UET Lahore marked a strong academic presence at the 6th International Conference (ICIC) 2025 hosted by UMT Lahore, an event technically sponsored by IEEE Lahore Section and IEEE Communications Society Lahore Chapter. The conference served as a vibrant platform for discussion on emerging trends in computing, information systems, and advanced technologies.

Mr. Kashif Bashir, Chair IEEE ComSoc Lahore Chapter and Senior Manager Trainings at KICS UET Lahore, actively contributed as a Session Chair, facilitating technical discussions and supporting scholarly exchange in line with IEEE standards.
