Prime Minister Laptop Scheme - Student Alert

Dear Students,

Currently, there's no option to reset student password by student himself in UAMS as most of the students don't have a valid email address in the system. To reset your password, you can either contact to exam branch or better contact your department UAMS coordinator.

The Entry Test Application shall be filled online through the web link http://admission.uet.edu.pk from today 13-08-2012 onwards.

a. Photocopy of CNIC or Computerized B Form issued by NADRA.
b. Two passport size photographs (one to be pasted on the printed application).

The eligible students may register on http://youth.punjab.gov.pk after the revised list is updated/displayed on their website. As per information on the official website, the Government of Punjab has extended the date of registration till 10th January 2012.

Chief Minister Laptop Scheme
Important Information for MS/M.Phil/Ph.D. Scholars
(21st December 2011)

The Govt. of Punjab has announced/clarified that following are not eligible for free Laptop under Chief Minister e-Youth Initiative:
(i) Evening Scholars of Public Sector Institutions
(ii) M.Phil./Ph.D./MS scholars who are either already in the Govt. /Private Service or have already availed a similar facility or any benefit from HEC (http://www.youth.punjab.gov.pk/freelaptops.aspx).
In view of above, the students of M.Phil./Ph.D./MS are advised to submit new applications on the prescribed form declaring that they fulfill the new criteria. The Application Form may be obtained (free of cost) from the Examinations Branch or may be downloaded from the following link:

The application should be signed by the concerned Chairman. Last date to reach the application in Examinations Branch is 24-12-2011 by 02:00 pm. Already submitted lists / applications of M.Phil./Ph.D./MS students will not be considered for the purpose.

You are allowed to update your CNIC # only which is urgently required. Make sure that your CNIC no is correct. We are not taking your name and father name using online student profile form. Some fields are restricted for the students to update. If you find your information is incorrect then go and ask your department coordinator. He will update your information.
