حضرت عمر فاروقؓ کے نام

حضرت عمر بن خطابؓ، جنہیں فاروقِ اعظمؓ کے لقب سے یاد کیا جاتا ہے، اسلام کی تاریخ کی ایک عظیم اور درخشاں شخصیت ہیں۔ آپؓ وہ جلیل القدر صحابی ہیں جن کی بہادری، عدل، تقویٰ اور قیادت نے اسلامی ریاست کو بے مثال استحکام عطا کیا۔

آپؓ نے اسلام قبول کرنے کے بعد اپنی پوری زندگی دینِ اسلام کی سربلندی کے لیے وقف کر دی۔ خلافت کے دور میں آپؓ نے انصاف، مساوات اور عوامی فلاح کے ایسے اصول قائم کیے جو آج بھی دنیا کے لیے مثال ہیں۔

▪ توسیع اور تمدن ▪

آپؓ کے دور میں اسلامی سلطنت نے غیر معمولی وسعت حاصل کی اور بیت المقدس، مصر، عراق اور فارس سمیت کئی علاقے اسلام کے زیرِ نگیں آئے۔ یہ نہ صرف سیاسی فتوحات تھیں بلکہ عدل اور رحمت کے ساتھ حکمرانی کی مثال تھیں۔

▪ خصوصیات اور خصالِ حمیدہ ▪

حضرت عمر فاروقؓ کا شمار ان خوش نصیب صحابہ کرامؓ میں ہوتا ہے جنہیں دنیا میں ہی جنت کی بشارت دی گئی۔ آپؓ کی زندگی سادگی، دیانت داری، احساسِ ذمہ داری اور اللہ تعالیٰ کے خوف سے بھرپور تھی۔

▪ شہادتِ شرف ▪

26 ذوالحجہ 23 ہجری کو فجر کی نماز کے دوران ایک مجوسی غلام ابو لؤلؤ فیروز نے آپؓ پر قاتلانہ حملہ کیا۔ شدید زخمی ہونے کے بعد آپؓ نے 1 محرم 24 ہجری کو جامِ شہادت نوش فرمایا۔

آپؓ کو رسول اللہ ﷺ اور حضرت ابوبکر صدیقؓ کے پہلو میں روضۂ رسول ﷺ میں دفن کیا گیا — یہ ایک عظیم شرف اور اعزاز تھا۔

Last year, our dedicated Girl Guides proudly participated in the Pakistan Girl Guides Association Summer Residential Training Camp at Murree, where they spent an inspiring week developing essential life skills, leadership qualities, teamwork, discipline, character building, and self-confidence.

The camp provided a unique opportunity for young women to learn through outdoor activities, community living, skill-based training sessions, and leadership exercises in the beautiful surroundings of Murree. Such experiences help students grow into responsible, confident, and empowered citizens ready to serve their communities and the nation.

We are proud of our Girl Guides for representing the college with enthusiasm, discipline, and the true spirit of Guiding. Their participation reflects our commitment to nurturing future leaders and promoting personal growth beyond the classroom.

One World Against Dengue
Dengue is one of the fastest-spreading mosquito-borne viral diseases in the world, affecting millions of people every year. On World Dengue Day, we unite to raise awareness about dengue prevention, early detection, and community responsibility.
Dengue spreads through the bite of infected mosquitoes and can affect people of all ages. While many cases are mild, severe dengue can lead to serious health complications if not diagnosed and treated promptly.
✅ Keep your surroundings clean and free of stagnant water.
✅ Cover water storage containers properly.
✅ Use mosquito repellents and protective clothing.
✅ Seek medical attention immediately if symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, body aches, nausea, or rash appear.
Prevention begins with awareness, and awareness begins with each one of us. Together, we can protect our families, communities, and future generations from dengue.

موضوع: "ماہِ ہمدردی" — ایک مہینہ، ایک عادت، ایک بہتر انسان

محترم طالبات و والدین!

السلام علیکم ورحمۃ اللہ وبرکاتہ

اللہ تعالیٰ نے قرآنِ مجید میں ہمدردی، احساسِ ذمہ داری اور کمزور افراد کے حقوق کا خیال رکھنے کو ایمان کی بنیادی علامات میں شمار فرمایا ہے۔ سورۃ الماعون میں ارشادِ باری تعالیٰ ہے:

أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ، فَذَٰلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ، وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ

(بھلا دیکھو تو اس شخص کو جو دین کو جھٹلاتا ہے۔ یہی وہ ہے جو یتیم کو دھتکارتا ہے اور مسکین کو کھانا دینے کی ترغیب نہیں دیتا۔)

(سورۃ الماعون: 1-3)

یہ آیات ہمیں یاد دلاتی ہیں کہ دوسروں کے دکھ درد کو محسوس کرنا اور ضرورت مند افراد کا خیال رکھنا صرف سماجی ذمہ داری نہیں بلکہ ایک اسلامی فریضہ بھی ہے۔

طالبات کے لیے ایک ماہ کی مشق

Active Listening (توجہ سے سننا)

ہر روز کم از کم 10 منٹ کسی فیملی ممبر، دوست یا کلاس فیلو کی بات پوری توجہ کے ساتھ سنیں۔

بات کاٹنے سے گریز کریں۔

فوراً مشورہ دینے کے بجائے پہلے سمجھنے کی کوشش کریں۔

ان کے جذبات کو تسلیم کریں۔

مثال: "لگتا ہے یہ بات آپ کو بہت پریشان کر رہی ہے۔"

رات کو دو مختصر سطریں لکھیں:

آج میں نے کس کی بات سنی؟

اس تجربے سے مجھے کیا محسوس ہوا؟

والدین کے لیے ایک ماہ کی مشق

Silent Check-In (خاموش توجہ اور خیر خواہی)

روزانہ کسی ایک فرد سے خلوص کے ساتھ دریافت کریں:

"آپ ٹھیک ہیں؟"

خاص طور پر ان لوگوں سے جو اکثر نظر انداز ہو جاتے ہیں، جیسے:

گھریلو ملازمین

چوکیدار

مالی

بزرگ رشتہ دار

ضرورت مند ہمسائے

صرف جواب نہ سنیں بلکہ ان کے چہرے کے تاثرات اور لہجے پر بھی توجہ دیں۔

یہ عادتیں ہمیں بہتر انسان کیسے بناتی ہیں؟

طالبات کے لیے

روزانہ توجہ سے سننے کی مشق دل میں نرمی، برداشت اور دوسروں کے احساسات کو سمجھنے کی صلاحیت پیدا کرتی ہے۔ جو شخص دوسروں کی بات سننا سیکھ لیتا ہے، وہ معاشرے کے کمزور اور ضرورت مند افراد کے درد کو بھی محسوس کرنا سیکھ جاتا ہے۔

والدین کے لیے

لوگوں کے حالات دریافت کرنے اور ان پر توجہ دینے کی عادت گھر میں محبت، احترام اور احساسِ ذمہ داری کو فروغ دیتی ہے۔ بچے اپنے والدین کے طرزِ عمل سے سیکھتے ہیں، اس لیے یہ عمل ان کی شخصیت سازی میں بھی اہم کردار ادا کرتا ہے۔

ہمارا مقصد

ایک ماہ تک جاری رہنے والی یہ مشقیں طالبات اور والدین دونوں میں ہمدردی، احساسِ ذمہ داری اور باہمی احترام کو فروغ دیں گی تاکہ ہم سب مل کر ایسا گھر اور معاشرہ تشکیل دے سکیں جہاں:

کوئی تنہا محسوس نہ کرے،

کوئی ضرورت مند نظر انداز نہ ہو،

اور ہر فرد دوسروں کے لیے آسانی اور خیر کا سبب بنے۔

اللہ تعالیٰ ہمیں رحم دل، حساس اور دوسروں کے حقوق کا خیال رکھنے والا انسان بنائے۔
