1 has its own Community Service Programme, proving students with opportunities to volunteer at a variety of organizations. Some of these include the Pakistan Society for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled, the Rising Sun Institute, Fatima Memorial Hospital, the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP), and Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital. Debate clubs are very popular and are usually in Urdu and English.The environment society campaigns against the degreening of Lahore, and the concomitant decline in Lahore's air quality. 1-A/1 put on an annual play every year, in Punjabi, Urdu or English.They are widely advertised and a reasonable amount of audience (mainly the youth) attends them. The school arranges an international trip for the graduating batch every year.All students are given a chance to interact with teachers and school staff in an informal and social setting. Students and teachers often use this as an opportunity to discuss things that might be causing problems at school because everyone is in a good mood and willing to be more cooperative.
