ینگ ڈاکٹرز ایسوسی ایشن پنجاب کی پریس کانفرنس — سنٹرل انڈکشن پالیسی مسترد، ہیلتھ سسٹم کی بدحالی پر سخت تشویش:

لاہور: میو ہسپتال لاہور میں وائی ڈی اے پنجاب کی مرکزی و جنرل کونسل کابینہ پنجاب کے صدر ڈاکٹر شعیب نیازی, چیئرمین ڈاکٹر مدثر اشرفی مرکزی کابینہ اور مختلف ہسپتالوں کے صدور نے مشترکہ پریس کانفرنس کی۔

پریس کانفرنس میں جنوری 2026 کی سنٹرل انڈکشن پالیسی کو مکمل طور پر مسترد کر دیا گیا۔ ڈاکٹرز نے کہا کہ ہر چھ ماہ بعد پالیسی بدل دینا اس بات کا ثبوت ہے کہ نظام چند مخصوص لوگوں کو فائدہ دینے کے لیے استعمال ہو رہا ہے۔ ایک میرٹ بیسڈ پالیسی جاری کی جاتی ہے، مگر انڈکشن قریب آتے ہی اچانک نئی پالیسی نافذ کر دی جاتی ہے۔ اس کا نقصان ہر گروپ کو ہوتا ہے—لوکل، گورنمنٹ، پرائیویٹ اور فارن گریجوئیٹس سب متاثر ہوتے ہیں۔

پریس کانفرنس میں ینگ ڈاکٹرز نے واضح مطالبہ رکھا کہ پوسٹ گریجوئیٹ ٹریننگ کی سیٹیں بڑھائی جائیں۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ اگر ٹریننگ سیٹیں بڑھ جائیں تو میرٹ کے جھگڑے کم ہو جائیں گے۔ اتنے ڈاکٹرز بے روزگار بیٹھے ہیں جبکہ دوسری طرف اتائی کھلے عام پریکٹس کر رہے ہیں۔ انہی ینگ ڈاکٹرز کو ٹریننگ دے کر ملک کا حقیقی سرمایہ بنایا جا سکتا ہے اور یوں پنجاب میں اتائیت کا بھی خاتمہ ہو سکتا ہے۔

ڈاکٹر شعیب نیازی نے یہ بھی کہا کہ سی پی ایس پی اپنے سپروائزرز کی تعداد بڑھائے، اور پنجاب حکوم اور ہیلتھ ڈپارٹمنٹ پی ایم ڈی سی کی یارڈ اسٹک کے مطابق زیادہ سے زیادہ ٹریننگ سینٹرز کو ایکریڈیٹ کرے تاکہ زیادہ ڈاکٹرز کو پوسٹ گریجوئیٹ ٹریننگ مل سکے۔

پریس کانفرنس میں میو ہسپتال کے اندر ہونے والی کرپشن اور انتظامی بے ضابطگیوں کو بھی سامنے لایا گیا۔ ڈاکٹروں نے واضح کہا کہ جب تک ہسپتالوں کے اندر ہی شفافیت نہیں آتی، کوئی بھی پالیسی فائدہ نہیں دے سکتی۔

مرکزی کابینہ کا کہنا تھا کہ سیکرٹری ہیلتھ اور وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب اسپتالوں کے اصل مسائل پر توجہ دیں۔ سرکاری ہسپتالوں میں ادویات کی مستقل فراہمی یقینی بنائی جائے۔ مریضوں کی بہتر دیکھ بھال کے لیے فوری اقدامات کیے جائیں۔ ہیلتھ اینڈ پاپولیشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ میں کام کرنے والے جونیئر ڈاکٹرز کو ان کی تنخواہیں باقاعدگی سے دی جائیں تاکہ مہینوں کی مالی مشکلات ختم ہوں۔ موجودہ بدحالی کے لیے پوسٹ گریجوئیٹ ٹرینیوں کی تنخواہوں میں اضافہ کرکے واضح ریلیف پیکج دیا جائے۔

ینگ ڈاکٹرز کا کہنا تھا کہ بار بار بدلتی پالیسیاں، کرپشن اور ٹریننگ سیٹوں کی کمی نے پورے ہیلتھ سسٹم کو کمزور کر دیا ہے۔ حل صرف ایک ہےشفاف، مستقل اور برابر موقع دینے والا نظام۔

The Young Doctors Association (YDA) Shaikh Zayed Hospital (SZH), in collaboration with Patient Benevolent Society (SZH), Lahore and the Al-Mihrab Foundation organized a "Medical Relief Camp" and "Ration Distribution Drive" in the flood affected rural areas of Tehsil Kamalia under the leadership of Dr. Hassan Raza Kathia, President YDA Shaikh Zayed Hospital, Lahore.

In this camp, 22 dedicated volunteers from Patient Benevolent Society SZH took part, including Ibrahim (President PBS) , Dr. Moeeza Fatima (Co-President PBS), Abdul Moeez Qadir (Fundraising Head PBS) Dr. Azaan , Dr. Abdul Rehman and others, whose efforts were pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of the activities.

During this relief activity:

* Over 300 patients, including children, were provided with free medical check-ups and treatment.
* 230 ration bags and free medicines were distributed among the affected families.
* 200 menstrual hygiene kits were provided to girls and women, along with counselling sessions to raise awareness about menstrual health and hygiene.

This initiative aimed to provide immediate health care and essential support to those suffering due to the devastating floods.

Good Afternoon,

Today, the President YDA Shaikh Zayed Hospital Dr.Hassan Raza held a meeting with the Federal Minister of National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination, Syed Mustafa Kamal at Minister Enclave Islamabad, regarding the matter of the pay raise of PGR's and HO's. The Minister assured us that significant progress has already been made, and Insha’Allah, in the coming days we will hear good news.

Later, we also met with the Joint Secretary, Mr. Kamran Ansari sb, regarding the same issue. He confirmed that considerable progress has been achieved and informed us that the matter has been discussed in the Standing Committee today. He is personally in touch with us to provide updates on the pay raise.

Today, President YDA SZH Dr. Hassan Raza, along with the Principal of Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Medical & Dental College Lahore, Prof. Dr. Ayesha Humayun, visited the Daycare Centre dedicated to the children — including newborns and young kids — of doctors serving at Sheikh Zayed Hospital.

The purpose of this visit was to initiate a much-needed renovation and revamping project aimed at enhancing the health and comfort standards for the neonates.
The planned upgrades include:
• Provision of formula milk for infants
• Installation of CCTV cameras with secure access for mothers, allowing them to monitor their babies during duty hours
• A dedicated play area for children
• Construction of new, hygienic washrooms
• Installation of a central air conditioning system
• Tiling of floors and walls for improved cleanliness and safety
• Installation of LED lights to ensure a well-lit and child-friendly environment
• Installation of TV and LCD screens for children’s entertainment

These initiatives aim to create a safer, more supportive environment for the children of our healthcare heroes, enabling them to serve with peace of mind.

آج وائی ڈی اے پنجاب کے صدر ڈاکٹر شعیب خان یازی اور جنرل سیکریٹری ڈاکٹر حسیب تھند نے وائی ڈی اے شیخ زاید اسپتال کے صدر ڈاکٹر حسن رضا کاٹھیا سے ملاقات کی۔ اس دوران ڈاکٹرز کمیونٹی کے ساتھ تفصیلی بات چیت ہوئی اور ان کے مسائل پر تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا۔
