The Faculty of Media and Mass Communication (FMMC), UCP, successfully held the viva voce exam for M.Phil. student ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐ˆ๐ฌ๐ก๐š ๐’๐š๐ฅ๐ž๐ž๐ฆ on July 16, 2026. Her thesis was supervised by ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐’๐š๐ฅ๐ž๐ž๐ฆ ๐€๐ค๐ก๐ญ๐š๐ซ ๐Œ๐š๐ ๐ก๐ซ๐š๐ง๐š (Assistant Professor, FMMC), with ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐‰๐š๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐š ๐๐š๐ณ๐ž๐ž๐ซ (Assistant Professor, Lahore Garrison University) serving as the External Examiner. ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐€๐ฌ๐ก๐›๐ž๐ž๐ฅ๐š๐ก ๐’๐ก๐š๐Ÿ๐š๐ช๐š๐ญ ๐€๐ฅ๐ข (Senior Lecturer at FMMC) served as the Internal Examiner. During the exam, the student presented and defended her research, answering questions and engaging in scholarly discussion with the examiners. The examiners appreciated the student's efforts and offered constructive feedback on her research.

FMMC at the University of Central Punjab has undergone a major revamp of its lobby, corridors, and Film & Theater Center, giving the faculty a fresh, vibrant, and contemporary look. A dedicated team of three led the initiative: ๐๐ซ๐จ๐Ÿ. ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐…๐š๐ฐ๐š๐ ๐๐š๐ข๐  (Dean, FMMC), ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐Ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ซ ๐’๐š๐ž๐ž๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ก๐ข, and ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐’๐ฒ๐ž๐ ๐€๐ฅ๐ข ๐Œ๐š๐ณ๐š๐ก๐ข๐ซ ๐‡๐š๐ฆ๐๐š๐ง๐ข, whose creative vision and efforts brought this transformation to life. The revamped spaces were formally ๐ข๐ง๐š๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐›๐ฒ ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐‡๐š๐ฆ๐ฆ๐š๐ ๐๐š๐ฏ๐ž๐ž๐ (Pro-Rector, UCP), on September 4, 2026. FMMC at the University of Central Punjab (UCP), in collaboration with the Career Services Office, announces the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a leading news channel, Capital TV, on August 24, 2026. From UCP, ๐๐ซ๐จ๐Ÿ. ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐…๐š๐ฐ๐š๐ ๐๐š๐ข๐  (๐ƒ๐ž๐š๐ง, ๐…๐Œ๐Œ๐‚) served as the main signatory, while ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐€๐ญ๐ข๐Ÿ ๐€๐ฌ๐ก๐ซ๐š๐Ÿ (๐‡๐จ๐ƒ, ๐…๐Œ๐Œ๐‚) signed as witness.
