Dabistan e Iqbal Dabistan e Iqbal, an organization for research and education of Allama Muhammad Iqbal's thoughts. Seventy-six years have passed since the birth of Pakistan.

Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal still lives on in the hearts of millions but few are enlightened with his thoughts and vision. The family of Allama Iqbal, dissatisfied with the way the thoughts and works of Allama Muhammad Iqbal have been projected by the subsequent governments of Pakistan and their subsidiary institutions, has set up an institution by the name of Dabistan e Iqbal to spread and promulga

te the vision and ideas of Allama Iqbal in their true spirit. We have seen its creation as well as its breakup. Considering the present deteriorating situation in our country and the clash of religious ideologies and interpretations, we have to ask ourselves if this is the Pakistan that Allama Iqbal and Muhammad Ali Jinnah envisaged. The answer is simply “NO”. Our purpose at Dabistan e Iqbal is to explore and discover Iqbal’s view of a modern Muslim state as well as that of the changing world. To bring the treasury and wealth of Allama’s work into the grasp of the ordinary people for whom his work was originally intended and to convey the message and ideas of Allama Iqbal in its purity and an easy-to-understand approach. Those in whose hearts Allama Iqbal lives, and those whose hearts he has touched, are never alone... We are attempting to make a gathering point for all admirers of Allama Iqbal’s thought a place for like-minded to gather, and to nurture and develop our Khudi/Self. Join us to discover the identity of our nation and ourselves and revive the true spirit of Iqbal.

Khudi, Khuwaish aur Azadi | خودی، خواہش اور آزادی
The visuals beautifully capture the essence of Khudi and the struggle between self-development and materialism. Against a cosmic dark blue background filled with stars, the journey of human potential unfolds. Golden light held in the hands symbolizes inner strength and hidden awareness, while a tree with deep roots reflects strong character and values. In contrast, the roller coaster and dollar sign highlight the unstable pursuit of wealth, and the puppet shows how society can control our choices. The mirror represents self-reflection shaped by possessions, while chains embody the limitations of materialism. Above it all, the radiant light shines as a symbol of freedom and the strengthening of one’s Khudi.
