The first ten days of Ramzan are to seek mercy from Allah as His mercy is boundless.
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
"oh,my lord forgive and have mercy and You are the best of those who show mercy"
