🏅 A Proud Moment for the Department of Physical Education & Sports Sciences! 💙

It is truly inspiring to see our respected HOD, Prof. Dr. Yasmeen Iqbal, represent the University of Lahore on an international platform at the prestigious IWG World Conference on Women & Sport 2026 in Birmingham, UK. 🇬🇧🌍

A particularly proud achievement was her selection for the prestigious Commonwealth Women Leaders Programme (CWLP) Scholarship, awarded by Commonwealth Sport in recognition of her commitment to advancing women’s leadership in and through sport. 🏅👏

This achievement is not only a personal milestone for Prof. Dr. Yasmeen Iqbal, but also a proud moment for our Department, FAHS, and the University of Lahore.

Her journey reflects the impact that strong leadership, dedication, and a passion for sport can have beyond the classroom — creating opportunities, inspiring others, and putting women in sport at the heart of meaningful change. 🌟

A heartfelt appreciation to Prof. Dr. Ashfaq Ahmad, Dean FAHS, and the University of Lahore leadership for their continued support and encouragement in creating opportunities for our faculty to represent the University on global platforms.

Congratulations, Ma’am, on this remarkable achievement! 🌸
Your success is an inspiration to us all, and we are proud to have you leading our department. 💙
