Over the past days, our teams have been engaged in an intensive training program, led by World Bank–certified (AIM-ECD & Teach Primary) trainers, ensuring strong alignment with global data quality standards. With active participation from the PMIU team and project experts, the sessions are focused on equipping enumerators with the skills required for accurate and reliable data collection across Punjab.

This baseline holds critical importance for the overall GRADES-P initiative, setting the foundation for evidence-based interventions in the education sector.

Ali Hamza, Company Director of FAME Education, along with his team, met senior officials of the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme (PMYLS) at the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to review and finalize the Third-Party Validation Report for PMYLS Phase III, a flagship initiative of HEC.

During the meeting, FAME Education presented key findings and evidence-based insights highlighting the substantial positive impact of the laptop distribution on students nationwide. The briefing reflected FAME’s extensive fieldwork, rigorous validation methodology, and large-scale data collection efforts, capturing feedback from beneficiaries and stakeholders across the country.

The PMYLS team appreciated FAME Education’s professionalism, technical expertise, and commitment, particularly in successfully executing this complex validation exercise across all four provinces of Pakistan, as well as Gilgit-Baltistan and AJK, within the agreed timelines.

The FAME team had the privilege of attending an insightful education symposium organized by the British Council, bringing together leaders and partners dedicated to advancing education in Pakistan.

It was an honor to engage with distinguished dignitaries, including Ms. Nishat Riaz, CEO of Malala Fund; Dr. Farid Panjwani, Dean of Aga Khan University – IED; James Hampson, Country Director of the British Council Pakistan; Talha Chishti, Head of English & School Education at the British Council; Dr. Javed Ahmed Malik, Team Lead for the ILMPACT Project; and Mr. Khalid Nazir Watto, Secretary of School Education, Punjab, along with other esteemed education leaders.
