Week 1 of AS Physics, and here's what the first class actually looks like, not a lecture you sit through, but the foundation everything else stands on. The students starting their MJ27 journey now are the ones who'll be calm in the exam hall while everyone else is cramming, because they gave themselves the months, not the weeks. This is where it starts. If you're planning for MJ27, the best time to build the base is the first week, and that's this one. Jawaan, come start it properly.

Chapter 1 looks like ten things to memorise, it's really two rules, and here's the cheat sheet for both. Rule one is precision: your answer can't be finer than the instrument that made it. A meter rule reads to a millimetre, a micrometer to 0.01 mm, a stopwatch to 0.1 or 0.01 s depending on the model, so writing extra decimal places isn't careful, it's inventing numbers. And your own reaction time is about 0.25 s, which is why short time intervals catch you out. Rule two is subtraction: volume is the water level after minus before, one lap is the later stopwatch reading minus the earlier, and the mass of a liquid is the full cylinder minus the empty one. Same method, three topics. Save this before your practical. Jawaan, this is the chapter everyone underestimates.

If your result wasn't what you wanted, first: it's one series, not a verdict. Now the practical part, you've got two plans for an October retake. Plan B is the one we've all run once: enter the exam, promise yourself you'll study, open past papers alone sometime in October, and panic by week three. Plan A is the same retake with a system around it, the Crash Course, full syllabus and extensive past-paper practice, on a schedule, with support, access running through 1 November so you're covered to your paper. Same student, same eight weeks, same syllabus; the only variable is whether anyone's holding the plan for you. Retake entries close around 21 September. Jawaan, pick the plan that walks in ready.

The Crash Course you knew just changed.

The biggest gap for ON students was never understanding the content, it was walking into the paper and blanking, losing marks on application and timing. So the new version is built around past-paper practice: full syllabus in recorded lectures, extensive past papers, detailed notes, topic quizzes, exam-focused revision, all at your own pace, with premium support. And the timing works for ON26, your access runs through 1 November, past your O Level Physics paper on 7 October and A Level Paper 4 on 12 October, and it renews monthly if you want to keep going. This isn't 'watch some videos.' It's a system that gets you exam-ready with the papers front and centre. Jawaan, you've got about eight weeks.
