عَنْ عَبْدِ اﷲِ بْنِ مَسْعُوْدٍ رضی الله عنه يَقُوْلُ : قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اﷲِ صلی الله عليه وآله وسلم : مَنْ قَرَأَ حَرْفًا مِنْ کِتَابِ اﷲِ فَلَهُ بِهِ حَسَنَةٌ، وَالْحَسَنَةُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا، لاَ أَقُوْلُ الۤــمۤ حَرْفٌ، وَلٰـکِنْ أَلِفٌ حَرْفٌ، وَلاَمٌ حَرْفٌ، وَمِيْمٌ حَرْفٌ.

It was narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Masoud that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Whoever recites one letter from the Book of Allah, for him there is one good deed in return, and this one good deed is one of ten good deeds. is equal I do not say that Alm is a letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mem is a letter. (As if only reciting Alm gives thirty virtues).

قرآن راہ نجات

صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وسلم

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رضي اﷲ عنهما قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اﷲِ صلی الله عليه وآله وسلم : إِنَّ الَّذِي لَيْسَ فِي جَوْفِهِ شَيئٌ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ، کَالْبَيْتِ الْخَرِبِ.

رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِِذِيُّ وَالدَّارِمِيُّ

It was narrated from Hazrat (Abdullah) bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: A person in whose heart there is not even a part of the Holy Quran is like a deserted house.

This hadith is narrated by Imam Tirmidhi.
