Happy Here is one of my most iconic photos, used on the cover of my book “Shangri-la”: Lhasa’s Potala Palace, once the home of the Dalai Lama and now a World Heritage Site, is the most iconic image of Tibet. The Palace, as seen from the north side, remains virtually unchanged since it’s rebuilding in the 17th century.

🔸️The Lakes (کچورہ جھیل‎) are two lakes in the District of Gilgit-Baltistan, northern . The lakes, at 2,500 metres (8,200 ft) in elevation, are Upper Kachura Lake and Lower Kachura Lake. The latter is also known as Lake and is within a tourist resort named Shangrila Resort outside the town of Skardu.

Fabulous Balakot city, Mansehra 💞

( #بالاکوٹ ‎) is a town in Mansehra District in the KPK.

Balakot is located on the right bank of the River. It is almost at two third of the length of river from it its origin at Lake deep in the Valley, before it confluence with River.

The lower area below Balakot, sometimes referred to as Valley, is temperate while Kaghan Valleyabove Balakot City is cold enough to turn the whole area to freezing in the winter.
