Good bye Duresha Chamaleen!

Duresha is an International Student in the Department of Mathematics in Mphil Program. She is from Siri Lanka and have been here in Pakistan for two years. Now she has completed her Mphil and soon will fly back to her family.

According to her, she is feeling happy to see her family again after a long time but at the same time she does have emotional sentiments about her stay here in Pakistan and after leaving she will miss a lot of memories that she had with her fellows, teachers, university....

She had a meeting with worthy Vice Chancellor GCU to share her views about her stay here in Pakistan and especially in GC University.

Now as she is going back to home so we say to her a good bye and pray for her best future ahead.

This talk was in the continuation of "Fractional Order Vibrating System". Some new Fractional Derivatives were introduced and a detailed discussion was the key part of the talk. Dr. Azhar Ali Zafar explained everything very well and specially the similarities and differences between all the newly defined Fractional derivatives was the most attractive part of the lecture whic indulge the audience to take part in discussion with interest.

Department of Mathematics GCU Lahore has resumed the Undergraduate Lecture Series on Mathematics titled "Exploring Mathematics" on this Thursday(October 14, 2021).

The first lecture is delivered by Dr. AZHAR ALI ZAFAR on Fractional Calculus. He introduced the notion of Fractional Calculus to Undergraduate and Graduate students. Audience participated in Question Answer session very actively... The session was opened by the worthy Chairperson Of the Department of Mathematics Prof. Dr. MUJAHID ABBAS who briefed the students about the purpose of this lecture series and invited them to participate actively....
