Pleased to share that UMT University of Management and Technology has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) on 12th February 2026, under the supervision and leadership of Director SCA.

This MoU, facilitated by UMT SCA - School of Commerce and Accountancy in collaboration with Corporate Linkages and Placements (OCLP) - UMT marks an important step toward strengthening industry–academia linkages and enhancing experiential learning opportunities for our students.

Both organizations have agreed to collaborate on:

✔️ Professional awareness sessions

The SCA Participant Council Members organized an engaging session titled “Meet the Dean – SCA” to provide students with a valuable opportunity to interact directly with the Dean of the School of Commerce and Accountancy.

The session created a welcoming platform for open dialogue, where students shared their ideas, concerns, and aspirations, while gaining insights into academic plans, institutional vision, and future opportunities at SCA.

It proved to be an interactive and meaningful experience, strengthening the connection between leadership and students, and promoting a collaborative academic environment.
