Lahore Leads University is a project of Leads Educator welfare Trust. The university is run under the auspices of Leads Educator Welfare Trust, a not for profit trust for promotion of education.Leads Educator Welfare Trust was established in 1995. The basic aim of the Educational Trust is to produce leaders for the nation through a holistic development of individuals by providing sound knowledge,

higher analytical ability, commitment to service and respect for the nation. Therefore, the Trust started its projects in education at all levels, named as, Leads School System, Leads Group of Colleges and Lahore Leads University. Since 1999 (before establishment of Lahore Leads University), Leads Institute were offering courses at bachelor and masters level for business management, accounting & finance and computer science etc. Lahore Leads University received degree awarding status through a charter by provincial assembly of Punjab vide its notification No. PAP-Legis-2(54)/2010/321 dated 12 January 2011. Lahore Leads University is one of the most inclusive institutions, where students are trained for a globalized professional landscape. With classy environment, this university is offering a personalized academic environment that enables students to exceed the outer limits of their potential. Lahore Leads University feel great privilege and honour to revive its tradition of welcoming yet another huge influx of students this year.
The Orientation Ceremony was compered by Mr. Syed Tanweer A. Tabish (Director, Placement Bureau) whereas it has been formally started with the recitation of Holy Quran. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal (HoD Islamic Studies Deptt.) recited verses from the holy Quran. Formal addresses were made by Mr. M. Salman Shabbir (Managing Director) followed by Prof. Dr. Munawar S. Mirza (Pro VC), Dr. Asfandyar Gilani (HoD Computer Sciences Deptt.), Dr. Mustafeez Ahmad Alvi (Director, Department of Student Affairs), Dr. Aqeel Ahmad (HoD Management Sciences Deptt.), Dr. Nawazish Ali (Director CASR), whereas the closing address was delivered by the worthy Prof. Dr. Mahmood Ahmad Bodla (Vice Chancellor).
We wish all the very best to the new students and hope that the seniors will help them out at every stage and difficulty.
