They plotted ordered pairs by standing on or marking specific coordinates.
They learnt how 2 numbers are needed to find one exact location.

Grade 1 Math Activity

Learning balance and counting in paces/cubits: We discussed how distance can be measured from point A to B by counting our steps. We practiced this by doing a fun Spoon ๐Ÿฅ„ race and counted our steps as we paced across the ground. Lots of fun and laughter while challenging our balancing skills, Alhamdulillah!

Grade 4 Girls learnt the power of words by discussing and thinking about how words make someone's hearts blossom and how harsh words can hurt feelings and break hearts. They learnt to be mindful in their daily conversation as Hadees says: "Speak good or remain silent!" They wrote Words that Blossom and Words that Hurt on the board and then drew their own flowers with good . encouraging words.
