From leading as President of the Law Society and Debates Society at the LACAS Johar Town A Level Campus, Arfa Shahzad Tiwana, Class of 2026, reflects what academic excellence truly looks like at LACAS.

With 9A*s and 1A in O Levels from the LACAS JT Canal Side Campus, and an outstanding SAT score of 1520, her journey is defined by consistency, discipline, and quiet ambition.

And now, her next chapter spans some of the world’s most selective institutions — from an over 85% scholarship at Columbia University in New York City, to recognition from Amherst College in Massachusetts, alongside a major scholarship from Williams College in Massachusetts, and offers from Villanova University in Pennsylvania and George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

Huge congratulations to Raahim Nadeem from LACAS Johar town A Level campus on earning Alternate Status at the prestigious Research Science Institute (RSI) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology!

Conducted by the Center for Excellence in Education in collaboration with MIT, RSI now in its 43rd year selects only 80–100 students worldwide from thousands of applicants.

Being named an Alternate means meeting the same exceptional academic standards as selected participants, with placement on a highly competitive reserve list due to limited seats.

Raahim proudly stands among the very few students from Pakistan to achieve this remarkable recognition this year and now awaits potential elevation to the final participant list.
