Course Description:

Rooted in the methodology of the renowned Moroccan scholar Shaykh Bashir al-‘Isam’s program Takween al-Malakah al-Lughawiyyah, this course will guide students through essential texts and provide opportunities for deep linguistic engagement.
Core Texts:
An-Nahw al-Wadih: A comprehensive introduction to Arabic grammar (Nahw), known for its clarity and systematic approach. Students will explore the rules of syntax, enabling them to structure sentences correctly and comprehend a wide range of classical and modern texts.
Iqra Series: This series will be used to practice reading and comprehension, immersing students in eloquent Arabic writing to reinforce grammar concepts learned and build reading fluency.

As-Sarf al-Wajeez: For those seeking additional depth, this beginner’s text in Arabic morphology (Sarf) offers a concise and accessible introduction to the patterns and structures of word formation, enhancing vocabulary acquisition and linguistic insight.
Course Objectives:
Develop a foundational understanding of Arabic syntax and morphology.
Cultivate proficiency in reading and understanding classical and modern Arabic texts.

Yesterday we finished our first course dedicated to learning the art of I'rab (Grammatical Parsing). We covered al-Muwatta fil I'rab by Shaykh Sulayman al-'Uyuni.
