Hormesis

A low dose of something toxic can sometimes make you stronger. It sounds counterintuitive — but it's real. It's called hormesis. Researchers just published a study in TSF Journal of Biology showing that low concentrations of extracts from Withania coagulans and Cassia fistula actually stimulate the growth of turnip seedlings — even though higher doses are harmful.
