After marriage, this famous artist settled in the sub-continent in 1940 and shifted to Lahore in 1947 after becoming Pakistan.
Her marriage broke up in 1951 and after that, you settled permanently in Lahore. You started your career as a Professor of Fine Arts at Punjab University. Later you were appointed as the Head of Fine Arts Department. She set up the Fine Arts Department of the Punjab University in a very efficient manner to provide facilities for the new students. You had been engaging in this department for almost 30 years. Under your tutelage, countless students have chosen the path of their lives and not only made the fine arts their profession but also made it a part of their lives when your daughter Zara Diverd was asked about her mother.
