A New Chapter for Aangun - Center for Learning and Culture!
With deep gratitude and a sense of continuity, we share that Aangun Centre for Learning and Culture is stepping into a new phase of its journey.
Since its inception, Aangun has been lovingly envisioned, built, and nurtured by The Little Art, who laid the foundation for a space rooted in creativity, learning, and community. Their care, intention, and commitment have shaped Aangun into what it is today, and we remain truly grateful for everything they have poured into this space.
As Aangun transitions into an independent future, we are pleased to share that the management of Aangun Centre for Learning and Culture, along with the continued sustenance of the Aangun Early Childhood Education (ECE) program, is now entrusted to The Tinkers' Collective.
We extend heartfelt gratitude to Tinkers for stepping forward with such care and intention. Their work has long been rooted in building safe, inclusive, and joyful community spaces, and we deeply value the care, energy and commitment they bring to nurturing and growing Aangunβs vision.
At the heart of this transition is a shared hope - to continue nurturing a space that truly belongs to its people: where children learn and thrive, communities come together, and creativity and compassion lead the way.
Hereβs to new beginnings, strong foundations and a future full of possibility.

Public Announcement
The Little Art is transitioning Aangun Center for Learning and Culture to an independent future, with its administration now entrusted to a new management committee. From 1 May 2026, Aangun Center for Learning and Culture will operate independently, including its summer camp and wider programming.
The Little Art will remain institutionally connected only to the Aangun Early Childhood Education (ECE) school, but will no longer be involved in day-to-day operations.
This has been a thoughtful and difficult decision. Opened in April 2022, Aangun was envisioned and built by The Little Art from the ground up as a space for learning, arts, and culture, alongside the development of its Early Childhood Education school in close collaboration with the management committee. Over the years, we have invested deeply in shaping it into what it is today.
As we step away from its management, The Little Art will focus its energies on its core programmes, including ArtBeat, festivals, and the reEarth International Art Prize, while trusting the new team to take Aangun forward into its next chapter.
We move forward with deep respect for all friends who contributed in making Aangun what it has been, and great optimism for what it will become. We wish the new team strength and success, and remain connected in spirit as part of a shared commitment to arts and culture in Lahore, the vision we had for Aangun when we started.
The Little Art and Aangun both continue, onward and upward!
