That's what muscle memory actually is. Not doing something well, doing it without thinking about doing it at all.
And that's the only place confident lines come from. Not talent. Not trying harder in the moment. From hours of this until the hand just knows.

Most people underestimate figure drawing until they're sitting in front of a live model with a timer.
A live figure doesn't wait for you to "feel ready." You have one hour. Sometimes two. The proportion has to land. The gesture has to breathe. The weight has to sit in the paper like the person actually exists.
This is a skill that doesn't come from watching. It comes from doing — repeatedly, under pressure, with correction.
The students who walk into that room confident they've already drawn the figure dozens of times before the test even happens.
There's a reason figure drawing separates the serious from the ones who "thought they were ready."

Inspired by my sister, this collection explores autism through observation and shared activities that revealed her interests and ways of engaging with the world. These insights informed the use of colors, textures, patterns, and textiles in the design process. The collection focuses on individuality and different ways of experiencing life, using fashion to encourage understanding and appreciation of neurodiversity.

"ARTIST STATEMENT"

'Jewels of Kuchi' my thesis collection was inspired by my personal connection to a Pathan family with Afghan roots and the striking way Kuchi women adorn themselves. Their garments, richly embellished with coins and metallic ornamentation, create the illusion of being draped entirely in jewelry. This visual illusion became the foundation of my collection.
Rather than recreating traditional attire, the collection reinterprets the richness and essence of Kuchi adornment through contemporary silhouettes. It celebrates a distinctive visual legacy while preserving its beauty through modern fashion design.
