Noor-ul-Ain Khan Niazi served as Chair of UNCSW, demonstrating exemplary leadership and a strong commitment to fostering constructive and inclusive debate.
Ayesha Ghassan received a Honourable Mention in UNCSW, Jannat Waseem was awarded a Special Mention in CRISIS and Fatima Majeed was awarded a Special Mention in IAEA.

The Department of International Relations is pleased to share that Dr. Aiysha Safdar, Head of the International Relations Department, was invited as a Keynote Speaker at Minhaj University Lahore’s 5th Winter School on Maritime Affairs (WSMA-2025), a week-long intensive short course bringing together scholars and practitioners in the field of maritime studies.
During the session, Dr. Aiysha Safdar contributed her expertise on Sustainable Coastal Communities, Green Tourism, and Ethical Practices, offering critical insights into the intersections of sustainability, ethical governance, and community-centered development in maritime spaces. The event was held from October 31 to November 2, where our students showcased exceptional leadership and diplomatic skill. Noor-Ul-Ain Khan presided as the Chair for UNGA, and Zara Imtiaz served as the Committee Director for UNCSW.

Dr. Aiysha Safdar, the Head of the Department of International Relations, Kinnaird College for Women, as a session-chair, chaired the session on “Naval Doctrines and Maritime Security in a Multipolar World Order at the MCE – UMT Two-Day International Conference On ‘Re-Thinking Security: Traditional And Non Traditional Threats In a Transforming World’ on 11 November 2025, bringing together distinguished speakers who shared insightful perspectives on evolving maritime challenges, nuclear rivalry, and regional cooperation. The discussion flowed with energy and depth, encouraging meaningful dialogue and reflection on Pakistan’s strategic role in an increasingly complex maritime landscape. The session was both intellectually enriching and engaging, leaving participants inspired by the power of academic exchange and informed debate.

Dr. Aiysha Safdar, Head Of the Department, along with the students of Semester 3 from the Department of International Relations, Kinnaird College for Women, visited the Centre for Aerospace & Security Studies (CASS) on Wednesday, 23rd October 2025, to attend a seminar on “Regional Cooperation and Minilateralism: Navigating Pakistan’s Strategic Choices in a Drifting Regional Order.”
The discussion proved highly interactive, with Kinnaird students actively participating and raising thoughtful questions. The visit offered them a valuable opportunity to engage with policy practitioners and deepen their understanding of real-world strategic and diplomatic.
