The Annual Training Workshop of PFUC was conducted on 18th December, 2021. Ms. Iram Saba, Head of CDAR Department at our alma mater NCBA&E was invited as a guest speaker to throw light on how to monetize social media. Her speech was highly appreciated, and she was presented with a shield as well.

The workshop on Content Writing Essentials was conducted today and proved to be a great success.

Committed to help you all learn & grow, the NCBA&E Alumni Association is starting a series of workshops.

We're kicking off the series with a workshop on Content Writing Essentials by our very own Sharoon Shahid who is also the Vice President of the Association.

About the Trainer:

Sharoon Shahid is a content and copywriter with 8 years of experience in the field with clients spread in different countries including UK, US, Kenya and Canada. She has worked on over 5000 e-books, countless website copies and email copies. Presently, she handles the content development department of international organizations Hyphen and Zeusworks. Sharoon has worked with many national organizations including PSEB, Scaryammi, Connected Women Pakistan, WOWPK and Ain Consulting Pvt Ltd. She also worked on editing and proofreading a coffee table book on the extraordinary freelancers of Pakistan titled, 'Extra Ordinary’ launched by PSEB and MOITT on 3rd September, 2021.

Currently, she works as the CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) at Ollybear Enterprises, Austria wherein she takes care of the marketing campaigns of the social enterprises launched by the organization in different countries. Along with the founder of Ollybear Enterprise, ‘Oliver Driever’, Sharoon is also launching a social enterprise, ‘Rising Above Social' in Pakistan that aims to help girls and women rising above & beyond gender based violence, discrimination and inequality.

In addition, she is also the Community Lead of Connected Women Pakistan, maestro instructor at Skills to Do, course instructor at Learning Lab and works as a Storyteller with Suno Kahani Meri Zubani and Luqmay.

Our Vice President Ms. Sharoon Shahid received Token of Appreciation Award from Mr. Rehan Allahwala and Mr. Syed Arsalan Ali Shah for her valuable contribution in the Connected Pakistan Conference 2021 on 4th & 5th December, 2021.

Ms. Sharoon is a freelance content and copywriter with clients across the globe, and also has launched her own startup Rising Above Social.

The Alumni Association and our alma mater NCBA&E congratulates her on this achievement.
