CENTIN / Futurizm, UMT successfully hosted an inspiring session titled “Entrepreneurial Excellence: The Journey of Johnny & Jugnu.” The event featured Mr. Gohal Iqbal, CEO & Co-Founder of Johnny & Jugnu, who shared his remarkable entrepreneurial journey along with valuable insights on building and scaling a successful venture.

Participants gained practical knowledge, explored real-life challenges, and engaged in an interactive discussion, making it a truly enriching experience for aspiring entrepreneurs. The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, where attendees had the opportunity to discuss their ideas and seek guidance for their own entrepreneurial paths.

CENTIN-Futurizm successfully conducted a session with Ms. Ayesha Akram from NIC Lahore.

The objective of the session was to help participants understand how innovative ideas can be transformed into successful ventures while highlighting the role and support provided by the National Incubation Centre, Lahore.

Students were given valuable insights into developing an entrepreneurial mindset, along with practical guidance on taking the initial steps toward building their own ventures.

The session also encouraged active participation, providing attendees with an opportunity to learn, interact, and gain inspiration for future entrepreneurial pursuits.

This is a significant milestone in their entrepreneurial journey. The event provided a high‑impact platform for these startups to present their innovations to a diverse audience comprising students, industry professionals, academia, and potential partners. 🎉

The showcase strengthened startups’ confidence, pitch readiness, and public presence in a competitive environment. The Young Founders also built connections with corporate representatives and ecosystem stakeholders, opening doors for future partnerships and mentorship, and contribution toward fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation among students.

Overall, the participation of our incubated startups at the Career Fest not only amplified their growth opportunities but also reinforced the role of incubation in bridging innovation, industry, and talent—creating sustainable pathways for startup success.

On December 9th, 2025, Prof. Dr. Asghar Zaidi, Provost UMT alongside the CENTIN Team including Director CENTIN, Ms. Quratulain Babur, Mr. Farooq Anwar, Deputy Manager Operations, and Ms. Marriyam Saif, Coordinator CENTIN held a meeting and signed an MOU with Aspire Pakistan Mr. Hassan Syed, Founder and CEO, Aspire Pakistan.

ASPIRE Pakistan aims to lead the innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem by connecting the Pakistani diaspora with entrepreneurs and startup founders across the country. The organization is committed to fostering socioeconomic prosperity in an equitable and sustainable manner, ensuring that opportunities are created for all.

This comprehensive ecosystem directly supports Futurizm by expanding access to global expertise, mentorship, and investment opportunities. Through ASPIRE Pakistan’s network, our incubated startups gain exposure to experienced professionals, industry leaders, and diaspora mentors who can guide them through critical stages of growth. Moreover, the organization’s commitment to inclusivity and sustainable development strengthens the capacity of UMT's BIC to nurture high-impact ventures, enhance innovation-driven learning, and contribute meaningfully to the national entrepreneurial landscape.

CENTIN Advisory board meeting held on November 10th, 2025.

Team CENTIN explained the purpose of this advisory board to them, which includes giving mentorships to relevant startups, organizing training sessions in their relevant fields, and inviting them for startup evaluations during any relevant competition.
