A message to every student with exams coming up 👇
Right now, one of two things is happening:
SCENARIO A:
You're clear on Organic Chemistry.
You know your functional groups.
You understand the reactions.
You feel prepared.
→ Great. Keep going. You're on track.
SCENARIO B:
You're not sure about organic reactions.
Functional groups still confuse you.
You've been putting off studying this topic.
→ This post is for you.
Organic Chemistry questions appear in
EVERY IGCSE, GCSE and O Level chemistry exam.
They're worth significant marks.
And they're completely learnable — with the
right explanation.
My course covers:
✅ All organic topics — step by step
✅ Clear logic — no memorisation needed
✅ Exam-focused technique for every topic
✅ Real past-paper style question practice
Students who start now have time to

To every parent reading this 👇
If your child is struggling with
Organic Chemistry right now —
Please know this:
It is NOT a reflection of their intelligence.
It is NOT because they're not trying.
It is NOT something they need to worry will
follow them for the rest of their life.
Organic Chemistry is genuinely difficult
when it's taught the wrong way.
And unfortunately — most classrooms teach it
the wrong way.
They teach memorisation.
What works is understanding.
When a student finally understands WHY organic
reactions happen — not just WHAT happens —
everything changes.
Their confidence changes.
Their grades change.
Their attitude toward chemistry changes.
My course, Organic Chemistry Made Simple,
was built specifically for this moment.
✅ Step-by-step video lessons
✅ Logic-based teaching (not memorisation)
✅ Exam-focused content for IGCSE, GCSE & O Level
✅ Taught by a teacher with 15+ years experience
✅ Accessible anytime, anywhere, at their own pace
📌 Available on Udemy now.

If you're doing this in Organic Chemistry —
stop immediately 🛑
❌ THE WRONG APPROACH:
"Let me memorise all the organic reactions
and their conditions by heart."
Here's why this NEVER works:
→ You forget under exam pressure
→ New question phrasings confuse you
→ You can only answer what you've seen before
→ One forgotten reaction = multiple marks lost
✅ THE RIGHT APPROACH:
"Let me understand WHY each reaction happens."
Here's what changes when you do this:
→ You can PREDICT reactions you've never seen
→ Exam pressure doesn't wipe your memory
→ You answer with actual understanding
→ Even unfamiliar questions become manageable
Quick example:
Why does ethene react with HBr?
❌ Memorised answer: "It adds across the double bond"
✅ Understood answer: "The pi bond in C=C is electron-rich
and attracts the H⁺ from HBr — this breaks the double
bond and adds H and Br across the carbons."
The second answer tells you EVERYTHING.
You can apply it to any similar reaction.
This is how every lesson in my course works.

Two types of chemistry students exist. 🔬
TYPE 1 — Before getting proper teaching:
😩 "I've read this chapter 4 times"
😩 "I still don't understand addition reactions"
😩 "I memorised everything and still got it wrong"
😩 "I just don't think I'm a science person"
TYPE 2 — After Organic Chemistry Made Simple:
😊 "Oh — that's WHY electrons move there"
😊 "Now I can predict reactions I've never seen"
😊 "I actually look forward to chemistry now"
😊 "I walked out of my exam feeling confident"
The difference between these two students?
Not intelligence.
Not ability.
Not even study hours.
It's ONE thing:
👉 The quality of explanation they received.
My course gives you Type 2 experience.
Every lesson is built around understanding —
not memorisation. Not shortcuts. Not tricks.
Real understanding that survives exam pressure.

Organic Chemistry exam tip 🔬
Master these 5 functional groups and you can
answer at least 50% of all organic chemistry
questions in IGCSE, GCSE and O Level exams.
Let me break each one down quickly:
1️⃣ ALKENES (C=C)
→ Undergo ADDITION reactions
→ Decolourise bromine water (test for C=C)
→ Key reactions: hydrogenation, hydration
2️⃣ ALCOHOLS (–OH)
→ Undergo oxidation, dehydration, esterification
→ Combustion: burn with a clean blue flame
3️⃣ CARBOXYLIC ACIDS (–COOH)
→ Weak acids — react with metals, carbonates
→ React with alcohols → ESTER + water
4️⃣ ESTERS (–COO–)
→ Made from carboxylic acid + alcohol
→ Sweet smell — used in food flavourings & perfumes
5️⃣ HALOALKANES (C–X)
→ Undergo SUBSTITUTION reactions
→ X = F, Cl, Br or I
🔑 The KEY to organic chemistry:
Learn what each functional group DOES
and you'll never be lost in a question again.

Let me introduce myself properly. 👋
I've been teaching chemistry for over 20 years.
In that time I've worked with students from:
🌍 UK, UAE, KSA, Qatar, Pakistan & more
🎓 IGCSE, GCSE, O Level, AP, IB & K-12
🏫 Schools, tutoring centres & online
And I've noticed the SAME problem in
Organic Chemistry — everywhere, every year.
Students are being taught to memorise.
Not to understand.
So I asked myself:
What if I built a course that teaches Organic
Chemistry the way it SHOULD be taught?
→ Step by step
→ With real logic behind every reaction
→ Focused entirely on exam success
That's exactly what
"Organic Chemistry Made Simple" is.
Not just another chemistry course.
A proper system for building real understanding —
the kind that stays with you under exam pressure.

Here's the truth no one tells students
about Organic Chemistry 👇
7 out of 10 students who struggle with it
are NOT struggling because they're bad at science.
They're struggling because of ONE bad habit:
❌ They're memorising reactions instead of
understanding WHY they happen.
You cannot memorise 200+ organic reactions
under exam pressure and recall them perfectly.
It is impossible.
But here's what IS possible:
✅ Understanding that reactions follow patterns
✅ Knowing WHY electrons move the way they do
✅ Using logic to predict outcomes you've never seen
When you learn organic chemistry THIS way —
everything clicks.
That's the entire foundation of my course.
Every lesson. Every topic. Every reaction.
Explained with LOGIC, not memorisation.
