In the true spirit of Youm-e-Marka-e-Haq, Punjab University carried the flag of truth from Lahore to Layyah and returned victorious. At the University of Layyah’s All-Pakistan Declamation Contest, Hareem Anam from the Institute of Applied Psychology and Abdur Rehman Sudais from the Department of Communication and Media Research clinched the Team Trophy and a cash prize of PKR 70,000 for Punjab University.
Hareem Anam further distinguished herself by securing 2nd Position individually among the best orators nationwide. This triumph reflects not just skill, but the same unwavering belief in Haq that defines our nation.

DG CNF Awareness Session at PU:
Director General Punjab Counter Narcotics Force, Brigadier Mazhar Iqbal, delivered an awareness session at the University of the Punjab, accompanied by his senior officers and the esteemed Pro Vice Chancellor, PU, Prof. Dr. Khalid Mahmood.

Syed Aayzaz Haider Gilani from the Institute of Administrative Sciences clinched the Second Best Speaker award in English, while Shoukat Ali from Punjab University Law College secured the Second Best Speaker award in Urdu at the All Pakistan Bilingual Declamation Competition hosted by Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture, Multan, on 23rd April 2026.
