On March 1st, 2023, the Human Well-Being and Anti-Narcotics society from the University of Home Economics presented a theatrical performance titled "Zindage Aik Naimat Hai" at the prestigious GC University Lahore, for their Thespian Art Gala 2023.

Ms.Aiza Imtiaz, Annual year student from the Department of Human Development, UHE, won the award for Best Actress.

The play, focusing on the significance of making wise choices in life and staying away from the use of drugs was written and directed by Ms. Humaira Tehsin (Lecturer, Department of Sociology & Gender Studies, UHE).

The respective event was organised by the Anti-Narcotics society of GCU. Many renowned educational institutes from all over Lahore — University of Management & Technology, University of Lahore, Government Islamia College, Lahore Garrison University and Forman Christian College — were in attendance as well.

The theme of the event was ‘Drug Abuse’. The theatrical performance presented by UHE was tremendously appreciated by the audience.
